Readable and scanned PDFs
The app extracts selectable text from PDF pages. If pages are scans, it can use browser-side OCR to recognize the words. OCR may make mistakes, particularly with low-quality scans or unusual layouts.
Private by design
The PDF is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a document-processing server. Browser speech voices may have their own platform behavior, so choose a local voice if that matters to you.
